Tangier – The city of Tangier will host, on October 13-15, the first edition of the International Pan-African Festival of World Music.
This cultural event, organized by the Dintchen-Coucke Foundation for the promotion of arts, culture and music of Africa, in partnership with the city of Tangier, aims to become a major cultural event that attracts so many festival-goers from Morocco and abroad because of its diverse range of musical performances.
This year’s edition, which will pay tribute to Burkina Faso, a West African country with an exceptional cultural richness, is also meant to promote tourism, enhance the Moroccan and African culture, and celebrate multiculturalism.
The three-day festival will feature concerts by great African artists, conferences related to art, culture and music, exhibitions of artworks, tastings to explore the flavors of African cuisine, and a fashion show.
