Culture Vultures Pop Up venture will appear once more on the Talla Kbira over the cultural occurrence of this year’s Sacred Music Festival. Jess Stephens, visual artist and cultural facilitator will coordinate this Pop Up gallery and curate an exhibition of works created by artists form over the globe, as far as New York and as local as Batha. The diverse range of work comes together under the influence of Morocco, either culturally aesthetically or in its rich resource of materials.
From the 8th to the 18th of June you can find this small but energetic creative hubb open afrom 10 a.m into the early evening, a 3 minute walk down hill, from the Madrassa Bounania. Jess’ aim is to make as much of a cultural racket as possible over the 10-day-period. Alongside visual arts there will be artist’s talks, a contemporary magician performance, live music, henna sessions and much spontaneity and joviality.
To find the Pop up gallery head down Talla K’bira, past Madrassa Bounaniya, under the tunnel and half a dozen shop units on your left you will find a small space with much inspiration.
