Hammam. Hidden Door — Living Treasure is an exhibition that opened at Fes’ National School of Architecture this week. The exhibition includes objects, video installations, panoramic photos, architectural models and documentary films all created to give insight into the history, the present and the future of the public hammams.
The exhibition shows architectural features, handicraft technologies as well as social values and intergenerational impacts of the Hammam, a part of the common identity of the Mediterranean countries.
The exhibition will be held from March 22nd to April 8th. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm at the Medresa Charatine Medina of Fes. HammamMed is a project funded by the European Union within the Euromed Heritage IV Programme.
