Miniature illustrations have always played an important role in Arab-Islamic art, linking a mysticism that goes beyond the appearance of material to a spiritual dimension. The eastern Arabs give great importance on such artworks of design, graphics and eventually narrative compositions.
It is with an approach with precision of design, mark and colors that Fassi painter Abdelhay Demnati animates the Islamic tradition. Damnani will open his exhibition Orientalist Art Gallery on Friday December the 10th at 18.30h. The exhibit runs until the 8th of January.
