MARCHE MAROC 09– Fez October 2nd n 3rd
60 artisans from all corners of rural Morocco, many of their Peace Corps counterparts and an inquisitive public gathered this weekend at the American Language Center, in Fez’ ville nouvelle. Cous cous was laid on by association Ennahda form Khentifra, nourishing 70 craftspeople and volunteers with a wholemeal Friday lunch. The complete schedule involved a series of workshops on marketing skills, followed by participation in a weekends arts and crafts fair, product quality consultations, a certificate ceremony and a festive concert adding to the tribute to Marche Maroc 2009. Mouloud el Meskaoui and crew lead the celebrations with inspiring energy and creativity. The radiating weekends’ sun enhanced the possitivity of the overall event.
